Why has Apple redesigned Safari?
While many iPhone users aren’t too keen on Apple’s Safari overhaul, there is actually a very logical explanation behind it.
According to this source, Apple’s rearrangement is actually intended to make it easier to use a larger phone like an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple said they bring the controls closer to your fingers with a downward-facing appearance, allowing the search bar to be used with one hand.
How to change Safari search bar back

- Locate the search bar at the bottom of Safari and choose the “aA” icon on the left of the screen.
- Click on the option that reads ‘Show top address bar’, it should be the first choice.
- Now locate the address bar which should appear at the top of the page.
