Saturday, November 30 Noon ET Atlanta, GA Bobby Dodd Stadium

Saturday is senior day for Georgia Tech as it will honor 24 pre-game student-athletes. Main scenarios

• Georgia Tech hosts # 1 Georgia for the 115th installment of one of college football’s most historic rivalries.

• Georgia Tech and Georgia did not play in 2020 due to the Southeastern Conference’s decision to only play conference matches due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It marked the first year since 1924 that the Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs haven’t met on the grill, breaking a series of 96 consecutive annual meetings.

• After a 3-3 start to the season, Georgia Tech has lost five straight decisions. Heading into last Saturday’s 55-0 loss at No.6 Notre Dame, Tech’s average margin of loss in the first four games of the skid was just 7.7 points.

• Georgia Tech Fr. RB and All-America contender Jahmyr Gibbs enters Saturday’s game ranked No.1 nationally in all-purpose distance at 163.8 yards per game, 2.2 yards per game more than Central Michigan RB Lew Nichols and 3.2 yards per game over Utah State WR Deven Thompkins. If he finished the season number one, he would become just the third Yellow Jacket to be the NCAA Statistical Champion since 2000, joining Justin Thomas (2015 – yards per completion, 17.9) and Pressley Harvin III (2020 – punting , 48.0 on average.).
